School Graduation Ceremony for the Classes of 2019 and 2020

The Graduation Ceremony of SHSS for the Classes of 2019 and 2020, will be scheduled as follow:

  • Date: Saturday, 10 April 2021
  • Time: 10:30 a.m. (Registration and rehearsal will start at 9:30 a.m.)
  • Venue: College Hall, 4/F, Block M, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK)

We are pleased to inform you that our President, Vice Presidents, School Dean, Department Heads, Programme Directors, and faculty members of the School will join the Ceremony and share with you the joy of your graduation. During the Ceremony, individual graduates will go up onto the stage to receive blessings from the President, School Dean, and Department Heads. We have also arranged for professional photographers to take photos for individual graduates while they are on the stage.

If you would like to join the Ceremony, please register online for the event on or before Monday, 22 March 2021 We will arrange to send the admission tickets to you around 10 days before the Ceremony.  Kindly note that if we do not receive your registration by the deadline, we will take it that you are not going to attend the Graduation Ceremony.

To minimise the risk of COVID-19 infection, you are invited to bring one guest only to attend the Graduation Ceremony in the College Hall.  However, live broadcast of the Ceremony will be made available on campus on the day of the Ceremony. It will also be available on the website for other guests interested in watching the Ceremony off-campus.

All graduates attending the Graduation Ceremony are required to dress in full academic regalia (with gown, hood and mortarboard).  Please click here for the specifications of the academic regalia and the detailed rental/purchase arrangements from the supplier.
