恒管模擬G20峰會 G-20 Summit Simulation 於2017年11月9日順利舉行。社會科學系【亞洲研究課程】同學，分別代表澳洲及墨西哥而個國家參與是次高峰會，角逐多個團體與個人獎項，其中一年級生甄庭軒同學榮獲最佳發言人獎（財政部長），恭喜！ 另外，美國駐港澳總領事唐偉康先生(Kurt Tong) 亦為恒管模擬G20峰會發表主題演講，題為「全球經濟挑戰與G20作為跨國經濟政策協商機制的前景」。

HKPSA Annual Conference 2017
恒管社會科學系首次與香港政治科學學會 (Hong Kong Political Science Association) 合作舉辦「香港政治科學學會年會2017」，會議於2017年10月21日 (星期六) 假何善衡教學大樓舉行。當日主辦方邀請恒管校長何順文教授致開幕詞，以及史丹福大學東亞研究中心客座研究員陳明銶教授（Prof. Ming K. Shadow Silk Road: Non-state Flow of Commodity, Capital, and People across Eurasia (RGC-IIDS 2016-17)
Dr. HUNG Po Wah, Eva This project is meant to be a two-day workshop to bring together international scholars researching on cross-border exchanges for an intensive discussion on the shadow economy in comparative perspectives. The workshop is scheduled on 25-26 May 2017 and includes participants from The Netherlands, Russia, Germany, Serbia, Pakistan, India, and Nepal, etc.

恒生管理學院社會科學系 與 國立臺灣大學政治學系 正式簽署 學術合作備忘錄
香港恒生管理學院社會科學系系主任高朗教授，於 2016 年10 月與國立臺灣大學政治學系洽談簽訂備忘錄事宜，並於 2017 年2月陪同恒生管理學院校長拜會國立臺灣大學楊校長，對於兩校交流達成多項共識。 2017 年4月17日，恒生管理學院社會科學系系主任高朗教授來臺與國立臺灣大學政治學系正式簽署「國立臺灣大學社會科學院政治學系與恒生管理學院社會科學系學術合作備忘錄」，期許未來兩系能有更多研究、教學合作及彼此師生交流，以共同提升兩系學術水準。
