The Department of Social Science cordially invites you to join the Augmented Reality Public Art Initiative – Public Lecture and Workshop by Professor John Craig Freeman, Professor of New Media, Department of Visual and Media Arts, Emerson College, Boston, USA. The event is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Hang Seng Management College School of Humanities and Social Science, and jointly organised by the Art Promotion Office and Hang Seng Management College Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Cultural and Creative Industries Programme.
Professor Freeman is an artist with over twenty-seven years of experience using emergent technologies to produce large-scale public work at sites where the forces of globalization are impacting the lives of individuals in local communities. He has produced work and exhibited around the world including in London, Sydney, Singapore, Paris, across America as well as Beijing, Xi’an, Wuhan and Hong Kong.
Professor Freeman will give a public lecture and two workshops during his stay in Hong Kong. Please find the details as follows:

Notes to Students
