The Department of Social Science cordially invites you to join the\u00a0Augmented Reality Public Art Initiative \u2013 Public Lecture and Workshop by Professor John Craig Freeman<\/strong>, Professor of New Media, Department of Visual and Media Arts, Emerson College, Boston, USA. The event is\u00a0presented by<\/strong>\u00a0the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Hang Seng Management College School of Humanities and Social Science, and\u00a0jointly organised by<\/strong>\u00a0the Art Promotion Office and Hang Seng Management College Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Cultural and Creative Industries Programme.<\/p>\n

Professor Freeman is an artist with over twenty-seven years of experience using emergent technologies to produce large-scale public work at sites where the forces of globalization are impacting the lives of individuals in local communities. He has produced work and exhibited around the world including in London, Sydney, Singapore, Paris, across America as well as Beijing, Xi\u2019an, Wuhan and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

Professor Freeman will give a public lecture and two workshops during his stay in Hong Kong. Please find the details as follows:<\/p>\n
